We are in a stage of force preparedness for the next 5 years until we can become operational to serve and protect the borders of our country and beyond as peace-keepers.

We are prepared to accept the responsibility of defending our province and country to ensure the territorial integrity of the country.

We shall be tasked by Infantry Formation and CJ Ops which could include the maintenance of law and order in co-operation with the SAPS (which is to phased out) assisting in the preservation of life, health and property and to ensure the maintenance of the provision of essential services we shall support any state department for socio -economic upliftment when deemed necessary.

We shall continue as a proud Regiment with an illustrious historical background to be administered as an intergrated and politically neutral unit. We shall strive to reflect the demographics of our population and in so doing, remain pro-active in our commitment to uplift our image. We shall endeavour to maintain a high standard of discipline and to reflect a military culture within our area. We shall strive to remain an part of the SANDF and although only a small member, we kept to be professional, loyal, proud and prepared to ensure we have the integrity of the armed forces at heart.
